Commercial Security Fence Installation in Sacramento

Anti-climb steel perimeter fencing, access gates, and welded fabrication for warehouses, yards, lots, and facilities across the Sacramento Valley. Built and installed by our own crew.

Protecting a commercial property in Sacramento is a different job than fencing a backyard. Equipment yards along Power Inn Road, contractor lots near Florin-Perkins, distribution buildings off Highway 99, and self-storage and auto facilities throughout the county all need a perimeter that resists cutting, climbing, and forced entry while still passing inspection and looking professional from the street. Iron-Caz Fencing builds that perimeter from heavier-gauge steel and wrought iron, fabricated in our own Sacramento shop and installed by our own welders.

We work directly with property owners, facility managers, and general contractors as a B2B partner: site walk, drawings, and a written scope, then galvanized or powder-coated steel sized for the threat and the climate. No subcontracted crews and no off-the-shelf panels that don't fit your layout.

Anti-Climb & Perimeter

Anti-Climb Steel Perimeter Fencing Built to Deter Intrusion

The right security fence makes a property harder to scale, harder to cut, and harder to hide behind. We design perimeters around how an intruder actually approaches: close vertical picket spacing that won't take a foothold, tall heights of 7 to 10 feet, and welded steel pickets rather than crimped pressed-point panels. For higher-risk yards we add anti-climb mesh (welded 358 'prison mesh' with apertures too tight for fingers and tools), curved spear toppers, or angled extension arms with barbed or razor topping where zoning allows.

Every line is finished to survive the Sacramento Valley — hot dry summers and damp tule-fog winters — with hot-dip galvanizing or industrial powder coat over galvanized so the fence isn't rusting at the base in three years.

  • Welded steel picket and tubular fencing in 7-10 ft heights for true anti-climb deterrence
  • Welded-wire 358 anti-climb mesh panels with tight apertures that resist cutting and footholds
  • Spear-top, bent-bar, and angled extension toppers for added height and intrusion resistance
  • Galvanized or powder-coated finishes that hold up to Valley heat, fog, and winter rain
  • Heavier gauge steel and full welds rather than light residential-spec panels

Gates & Access Control

Commercial Access Gates, Operators & Vehicle Entries

A perimeter is only as strong as how vehicles and people get through it. We fabricate and hang heavy cantilever slide gates and swing gates sized for trucks and trailers, plus man-gates and pedestrian entries that tie into your access system. Gates are built in-shop to match the fence line, then fitted with commercial-grade operators rated for high cycle counts.

We coordinate the mechanical side — gate operators, loop detectors, and the conduit and stub-outs — with your low-voltage or access-control vendor so keypads, card readers, telephone entry, and exit loops drop in cleanly. We also install the safety devices that keep an automated commercial gate code-compliant and your facility liable-free.

  • Cantilever slide and swing vehicle gates fabricated to fit your drive width and grade
  • Commercial gate operators (slide and swing) rated for heavy daily cycling
  • Pedestrian and man-gates integrated with keypad, card reader, or telephone entry
  • Safety provisions — photo eyes, edge sensors, and warning signage per UL 325 / ASTM F2200
  • Conduit, loop sawcuts, and stub-outs coordinated with your access-control installer

B2B & Compliance

Code Compliance and a Straightforward Process for Facilities

Commercial fencing has rules residential work doesn't. Automated vehicle gates must meet UL 325 and ASTM F2200 for entrapment protection; pool and equipment enclosures have their own barrier codes; and many sites carry setback, height, and screening requirements from the City of Sacramento or county that the install has to respect. We build to those standards from the start so the project clears inspection instead of failing it.

Working with us is built for property managers and GCs: one on-site estimate, a written scope and finish spec, in-house fabrication you can schedule against, and a single crew that's licensed and insured (CA CSLB #1129247). We've been doing this in the Sacramento region for 15+ years.

  • Automated gates built to UL 325 and ASTM F2200 entrapment-protection standards
  • Heights, setbacks, and screening per City of Sacramento / county zoning requirements
  • Written scope and finish specs suitable for bids, budgets, and facility records
  • Licensed and insured — CA CSLB #1129247 — with our own crew, no subcontractors
  • Repairs and retrofits to existing commercial fence and gate lines, plus custom welding in-house

FAQ

Common questions

What height should a commercial security fence be in Sacramento?

Most commercial security perimeters run 7 to 10 feet. Six feet is a baseline for general enclosure, but for true anti-climb deterrence on yards, lots, and storage we recommend 8 feet or taller, often with a spear or angled topper. We'll size it to your risk level and confirm allowable height against local zoning during the estimate.

Can you build an automated gate that meets code for our facility?

Yes. We fabricate cantilever slide and swing vehicle gates and fit them with commercial operators, then install the safety devices — photo eyes, edge sensors, signage — required by UL 325 and ASTM F2200 for entrapment protection. We also coordinate conduit and loops with your access-control vendor so keypads and readers integrate cleanly.

Do you work with property managers and general contractors?

That's a large part of our work. We provide a written scope and finish spec you can put in a bid or budget, fabricate in our own Sacramento shop on a schedule, and install with our own licensed and insured crew (CA CSLB #1129247) — no subcontractors handed your project.

How do you keep a steel security fence from rusting in the Sacramento climate?

We finish commercial steel with hot-dip galvanizing or industrial powder coat over galvanized steel. That combination stands up to the Valley's hot, dry summers and damp, foggy winters far better than painted or light-gauge fencing, which tends to corrode at the base within a few years.
