Custom Iron Fence in Sacramento

Ornamental iron fencing designed, welded, and finished in our own Sacramento shop, then installed by our crew. Pickets, finials, and finishes built to handle Valley summers and wet winters.

An ornamental iron fence does two jobs at once around a Sacramento property: it sets a clear boundary and it carries the look of the house from the curb. At Iron-Caz Fencing we build that fence from scratch, cutting and welding pickets, rails, and posts in our Auburn Blvd shop rather than ordering pre-made panels and dropping them in. That means the spacing, height, and post pattern actually match your lot line, your slope, and the rest of your yard.

Owner Daniel Hernandez Cazares and our family crew have been fabricating and installing iron in the Sacramento Valley for 15+ years. We handle the whole job ourselves, no subcontractors, from the on-site measure to the final powder-coat. Every fence is finished to resist the rust that comes with 100-plus-degree summers and damp Delta winters, so the iron still looks sharp years down the line.

Styles & Details

Ornamental Iron Fence Styles, Finials & Picket Options

Ornamental iron is about the details, and small choices change the whole feel of a fence. We size the picket spacing, rail count, and top profile to suit the property, whether you want a clean modern line or a more traditional, decorative look. Finials are where most of the character lives, and they get welded on by hand.

We can match an existing fence on the street, work from a photo you like, or sketch something custom in the shop. Heights are typically 4, 5, and 6 feet for yards, with taller runs available for security or commercial frontage.

  • Spear-point, ball-cap, and fleur-de-lis finials, or a flat-top picket for a cleaner modern look
  • Single- or double-rail designs with rake-able rails to follow sloped Sacramento lots
  • Decorative scrollwork, rings, and butterfly scrolls fabricated in-house
  • Pressed-point pickets and custom heights from low garden fence to 6-ft privacy-height iron

Finishes

Powder-Coat & Galvanized Finishes Built for the Sacramento Valley

Bare iron rusts fast in our climate, where hot dry months are followed by months of rain and fog. The finish is what keeps an iron fence looking new, so we treat it as part of the build, not an afterthought. Most of our fences get a durable powder-coat over properly prepped steel, and we offer galvanizing for added corrosion protection on jobs near sprinklers, pools, or low spots that stay damp.

Powder-coat also gives you real color choice beyond plain black, so the fence can complement trim, stucco, or hardscape instead of fighting it.

  • Powder-coat finish for a hard, even, fade- and chip-resistant coating
  • Hot-dip / galvanized options where rust resistance matters most
  • Color choices including satin black, bronze, and custom matches
  • Surface prep and primer steps that make the finish actually last in Valley weather

Where We Install

Residential & Commercial Iron Fencing Across Greater Sacramento

We install ornamental iron fence for homes and businesses throughout Sacramento and out about 80 miles, covering Roseville, Folsom, Elk Grove, Citrus Heights, Rancho Cordova, and the surrounding communities. Residential jobs range from front-yard accent fencing and side-yard runs to full perimeter enclosures and pool-area fencing that meets code.

On the commercial side we fabricate heavier-gauge iron for property perimeters, parking areas, equipment yards, and storefronts, including anti-climb and security-focused designs. Because we weld everything ourselves, we can also tie the fence into matching driveway and pedestrian gates as one coordinated project.

  • Front-yard, side-yard, and full-perimeter residential iron fencing
  • Pool-code-compliant iron fence with proper picket spacing and self-latching gates
  • Heavier-gauge commercial perimeter, storefront, and yard enclosure fencing
  • Matching iron driveway and walk gates fabricated to coordinate with the fence

FAQ

Common questions

How much does an iron fence cost in Sacramento?

Price depends on linear footage, height, picket and finial detail, finish, and site conditions like slope or rock. Because we fabricate and install in-house with no subs, we can give you an accurate number after a free on-site measure. Call (916) 307-0543 to set one up.

Will an iron fence rust in the Sacramento climate?

Bare iron will, which is why we don't leave it bare. We prep the steel and apply a durable powder-coat, and offer galvanizing for areas near sprinklers, pools, or damp ground. Done right, the finish holds up through our hot summers and wet winters for years.

Can you match an existing iron fence or build a custom design?

Yes. We can match the style, height, and finial of a fence already on your street, work from a photo, or design something custom in our shop. Everything is welded to order, so spacing and height fit your specific lot.

Do you make iron fencing that meets pool code?

We build pool-area iron fence with the correct height and picket spacing and self-closing, self-latching gates so it meets California pool barrier requirements. Let us know it's for a pool at the estimate and we'll size it accordingly.
