Full-Service Fence Contractor in Sacramento

Iron-Caz Fencing is a licensed, family-run fence contractor that fabricates in our own Sacramento shop and installs with our own crew, never subcontractors. Iron, steel, wood, and automated gates, built for the Valley climate.

Picking a fence contractor in Sacramento usually means juggling several trades, one company sells the fence, another welds the gate, and a third wires the opener. Iron-Caz Fencing handles all of it under one roof. Owner-operator Daniel Hernandez Cazares runs the shop where every panel, picket, and gate frame is cut and welded, then the same crew sets your posts on site. That single point of accountability is the whole point of hiring one contractor instead of stitching the job together yourself.

With 15+ years working the Sacramento Valley, we know what local conditions do to a fence: 100-degree summers that bake cheap finishes, wet winters that rot untreated wood and rust bare steel, and expansive clay soil that heaves poorly set posts. We spec galvanized or powder-coated steel, proper footing depths, and finishes chosen to last here, not in a catalog photo. We are licensed and insured under CA CSLB #1129247.

Scope

Every Fence Type We Build and Install

Because we fabricate in-house, you are not limited to whatever a supplier stocks. We build to your property lines, slopes, and design, whether that is an ornamental iron front fence or a no-nonsense security perimeter for a commercial yard. Most homeowners come to us for the iron and steel work we are known for, but we are a true full-service contractor across materials.

  • Custom wrought iron and steel fencing with spear, ball, or fleur finials
  • Wood and iron combination fences, plus modern horizontal slat designs
  • Welded-wire and anti-climb security fencing for homes and businesses
  • Driveway and pedestrian gates, automated openers, iron handrails and railings
  • Decorative metalwork and custom welding fabricated on our own equipment

In-house

Why In-House Fabrication Beats a Reseller

A lot of outfits labeled "fence contractor" are really resellers, they order pre-made panels and bolt them together. When something doesn't fit, the corner is awkward, the grade drops, the gate is two inches too wide, they cut and patch on site. We fabricate to your exact measurements, so panels follow the slope and gates hang true the first time.

It also means repairs and add-ons years later actually match. If a car clips your gate or you want a matching side gate added, we can re-make the exact piece in the same shop instead of hunting for a discontinued part.

  • Panels and gates built to your real-world measurements, not stock sizes
  • Powder-coat and galvanized finishes applied for rust resistance in Valley weather
  • Custom designs, raked panels for slopes, and oversized gates handled in-shop
  • Repairs and matching add-ons fabricated to the original spec
  • No subcontractors, the people who weld it are the people who install it

Hiring smart

What to Check Before You Hire a Sacramento Fence Contractor

Fencing is one of those trades where the bad work doesn't show up until the second winter. Before signing with anyone, confirm they are licensed with the CSLB and carry insurance, ask whether they fabricate or resell, and find out who actually shows up to install. A low bid that relies on shallow footings or thin-gauge steel costs more when it leans or rusts.

We give honest, free on-site estimates so you can compare apples to apples, real measurements, the gauge and finish we'll use, and a clear scope. We serve Sacramento and roughly 80 miles around it.

  • Verify CSLB license (ours is #1129247) and proof of insurance
  • Ask if the fence is fabricated in-house or drop-shipped panels
  • Confirm the installer is the contractor's own crew, not day labor subs
  • Get the steel gauge, finish type, and post-depth in writing
  • Choose a local contractor who knows Sacramento soil, permits, and pool code
